  • The new P-4 post is for a Scientific Officer who will assist the Scientific Committee to: (a) support increasingly extensive, complex and diverse assessments, ensuring their timeliness without compromising quality; (b) improve dissemination of the Committee's findings and coordination with other international organizations; and (c) develop and maintain support infrastructure for the longer term.

  • (b) Without prejudice to the provisions of the General Convention or Article IV [i.e. sections 11 to 14] of this agreement, the United Nations shall prevent the headquarters district from becoming a refuge either for persons who are avoiding arrest under the federal, state, or local law of the United States or are required by the Government of the United States for extradition to another country, or for persons who are endeavoring to avoid service of legal process.”
    (ب) دون الإخلال بأحكام الاتفاقية العامة أو المادة الرابعة من هذا الاتفاق، تمنع الأمم المتحدة استعمال منطقة المقر كملجأ للأشخاص الذين يتهربون من قرار بالقبض عليهم صادر بموجب قوانين الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية الاتحادية أو الخاصة بالولايات أو المحلية، أو المطلوبين من قبل حكومة الولايات المتحدة للتسليم إلى بلد آخر، أو الذين يسعون إلى التهرب من تبليغ بإجراء قانوني``.
  • (b) Without prejudice to the right of a supplier or contractor to submit a tender in the form referred to in subparagraph (a), a tender may alternatively be submitted in any other form specified in the solicitation documents that provides a record of the content of the tender and at least a similar degree of authenticity, security and confidentiality;
    (ب) دون إخــلال بحق المورّد أو المقــاول في تقديم عــطاء بالشكل المشار إليه في الفقرة الفرعية (أ)، يجوز أن يُقدَّم العطاء بدلا من ذلك في أي شكل آخر محدد في وثائق الالتماس إذا كان يوفر تسجيلا لمحتويات العطاء ويوفر، على الأقل، قدرا مماثلا من الحجية والأمن والسرية؛
  • (b) Without prejudice to paragraph (d) below, immunity from seizure of their personal baggage unless there are serious grounds for believing that the baggage contains articles the import or export of which is prohibited by law or controlled by the quarantine regulations of the State Party concerned;

  • (5) (a) Subject to subparagraph (b), A tender shall be submitted in writing, signed and in a sealed envelope (b) Without prejudice to the right of a supplier or contractor to submit a tender in the form referred to in subparagraph (a), a tender may alternatively be submitted in or in any other form specified in the solicitation documents, provided that the means of submission chosen by the procuring entity shall comply with the accessibility standards contained in [article 4 bis or 5 bis];
